  An epic event struck at the heart of Paullina Tuesday, December 8 late in the evening. A fire broke out in the second floor apartments at the corner of Main and Broadway. Fierce weather, referred to by many as the worst weather in 15 years to hit the area, hampered fire fighting efforts and the winds may have given strength to the blaze. "This was the most extreme weather. I don't remember anything that bad," said Paullina Fire Chief Brian Feltman. "We've had cold fires, but this was a blizzard, drifting snow, freezing
  The Paullina Chamber of Commerce held a lighting contest this holiday season.The results of the judging held Sunday, December 13th,follow. Each of the winners will receive chamber bucks.
