An epic event struck at the heart of Paullina Tuesday, December 8 late in the evening. A fire broke out in the second floor apartments at the corner of Main and Broadway. Fierce weather, referred to by many as the worst weather in 15 years to hit the area, hampered fire fighting efforts and the winds may have given strength to the blaze.
